The moment you start working as a Field Engineer at ExRobotics, you will work in an international organisation. ExRobotics is the market leader in robotics solutions in hazardous areas. Our robots are EX certified (ATEX and IECEx Zone 1) so that they can carry out inspections at remote locations around the world. The ExR-1 and ExR-2 are unique in their field, which ensures that you will work with an innovative team of back office, engineers and mechanics.
We are a close-knit, dynamic and diverse team where everyone can be their best self. We have informal communication and short lines, to make sure no information is lost due to bureaucracy. We all have a high level of responsibility for our own work and involve each other when tasks touch multiple disciplines. In our workshop and office, you will find yourself in a creative and rapidly changing environment. A place where you as a Field Engineer will take significant all-round responsibility. As part of a growing company, you get the opportunity to develop, grow and tackle new and different challenges.
Our employees, suppliers, customers and partners share information (good and bad) openly so we all improve.
We all work together to reach our goals, we learn from our mistakes, we don't blame each other.
Our employees, suppliers, customers and partners enjoy working with each other.
Our products and processes keep people safe and are ecologically sound.
We do what we need to, we don't waste time and effort and create unnecessary overheads.
As a Field Engineer, you have an important cross-functional position at ExRobotics, you will be responsible for the quality, output, and reliability of our robots in the field. This mostly means deploying and maintaining our robots at customer sites in person (global travel for multiple days at a time) or remotely. This includes support for operating & maintaining products, issue diagnosis and second line support. You are also partially responsible for quality assurance of assembly.
The various robots are complex, and EX certified. This means that you will start with a thorough onboarding process. You will be introduced to our robots through assembly, programming and EX standards.
