Woodside has taken the leap into the world of robotics, exploring its potential to improve safety in its operations. It currently has three ExR-1 robot operators at their plants for evaluation. These robots are ATEX / IECEx Zone 1 certified for use in potentially explosive gas locations, which makes them well suited for oil, gas & chemical industries.
